One of our favorite, and highly affordable, Martins as it offers full-size guitar tone and volume but in an almost travel-size model. As with the other Style 18 models, appointments include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and lightweight open-back tuners. The top has 1/4" scalloped X pattern bracing, and the mahogany is given a more transparent, warm brown stain. It's a small, tuck-under-your-arm Martin with a remarkably big sound. Great for songwriting, easier to carry around, the perfect steel-string for anyone who likes to hug their guitar rather than climb over it to get to the strings. This has been played, there's light playing wear to the finish on the top from being handled, but there are no cracks or deep dings and almost zero fret wear suggesting the original owner had a very light touch. Comes with the original black hardshell case.
