We tend to remember Gibson for making excellent banjos, mandolins, and both acoustic and electric guitars but we forget them made some great ukuleles in the 1920s and 1930s. This TU-1 tenor ukulele was and in the late 1930s it just might be the cleanest pre-WWII Gibson of any style that Gryphon has ever offered. It looks like it was stored for decades in its case and since it got almost no UV exposure the finish is still clear and bright with no fading. It sounds and plays great, too! Includes a brawn chipboard case that is not as clean.
