Unfortunately, the shape of the holes on the new buttons are a different shape than the old buttons so you just can’t swap them out.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eHappily, our own Frank Ford figured out a way to machine the shafts on Rickard Cyclones to take ivoroid buttons from the 1920s. We had a small stash of vintage ivoroid buttons salvaged from old friction pegs and Frank set up a few nickel plated Cyclone with them. Because of the work involved, and the limited supply of vintage buttons, we don’t have many of these in stock.     \r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eRickard Cyclones are made of solid brass with a nickel plated finish.They require a 3\/8\" diameter hole, so they're a drop-in replacement for most standard 4:1 planetary pegs.
