Gibson was still using the Handel tuners, with inlaid celluloid buttons, at this point but those wouldn't appear much longer. There are no cracks to the body or neck, and the original shellac-varnish finish on the body is in good condition although it shows typical crazing, or checking, to the surface.   This A-4 delivers plenty of volume, with a strong ringing tone.
