Gold Tone’s OB-150 takes its inspiration from the classic pre-war bluegrass banjos, using high-quality parts, and assembles them in their Titusville, Florida factory. The three-ply maple rim, one-piece flange, and brass flathead tone ring provide the foundation for that familiar bluegrass banjo sound, with the maple neck, vintage inspired inlays, and satin finish giving it a classic resonator banjo look.
This used example from 2024 is exceptionally clean and has not had or needed any structural repairs. It has been setup by our techs and is in great playing shape as well. This OB-150 is a great option for a player ready to move beyond a starter banjo, or anyone looking for a resonator banjo with traditional construction for gigging, jamming, or practicing at home, without getting into vintage-banjo prices. It comes with a clean Gold Tone hardshell case.
