{"product_id":"circa-1995-kamaka-hp-1-pineapple-soprano-ukulele-used-25357","title":"Circa 1995 Kamaka HP-1 Pineapple Soprano Ukulele - Used","description":"The Kamaka Pineapple ukulele was invented by Sam Kamaka sometime before 1920 and patented in 1928 and has since gone on to become an iconic design in the ukulele world. It’s hard to say exactly when this example was made as Kamaka didn’t start using serial number until after 2000, but the combination of the white label and the Schaller frictions pegs suggest it was made around 1995, give a take a year or two. Its unique body design gives it a warm mellow tone that produces more volume than you would expect for such a small instrument. It is crafted with  solid, nicely figured koa. Unlike the current Kamakas, this soprano has a koa neck and fingerboard, which was typical of their ukes during this period. This ukulele has been well maintained and is in excellent overall condition. In fact, it looks as if it was hardly played at all. The frets are in great shape with only a hint of wear. And besides a few random tiny dings, the uke is almost free of any cosmetic imperfections. Includes a chipboard case.","brand":"Kamaka Hawaii","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46550859415751,"sku":"KAMHP1-142176","price":650.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0503\/4947\/3991\/files\/1421761.jpg?v=1789195421","url":"https:\/\/www.gryphonstrings.mom\/products\/circa-1995-kamaka-hp-1-pineapple-soprano-ukulele-used-25357","provider":"Gryphon Strings","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
