Details
The Legacy E has the open body design that Paul Beard pioneered in 1987. Unlike many resonator guitars, this instrument doesn’t have a soundwell, which gives it a rounder more resonant tone with lots of sustain. The top, back and sides are made of solid figured maple and have a gloss finish with tobacco sunburst and is bound in curly maple. The square neck is made of solid maple fitted with an ebony fretboard with 19 frets. The sonic engine of this guitar is a handspun Beard Legend Cone paired with a Beard #14 spider. The tailpiece, screen and coverplate are nickel plated. It’s fitted with a Fishman Nashville pickup and comes with a hardshell case.
